Norman <br />Administrative Services Manager Linda Waite Smith <br />Police Chief David Gustafson <br />Director of Public Works Dean Kapler <br />Councilmember Natalie Haas Steffen <br />AFSCME Business Agent Linda Cobb <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Councilmember Beyer called the regular meeting of the Personnel Committee to order at <br />5:50 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Consensus was to approve the agenda as presented. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE BUSINESS: <br /> <br />Case #1: AFSCME Contract Negotiations <br /> <br />Administrative Services Manager Waite Smith reported that the City's negotiating team <br />and representatives of AFSCME have reached tentative agreement on an employment <br />agreement that covers the period of January 1, 1998 through December 31, 2000. <br />AFSCME members voted on the proposal August 20, 1998.
