Councilmember {~fl'f introduced the following resolution and moved for its <br />adoption: <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION #98-10 <br /> I_ <br />. e~o~,~TiO~ ~o~ ~m~ o~ ~.~T ~0~ k~,T~ TO. ~U~,~ <br />FROM JULIE KUCIA FOR A HOME OCCUPATION PERMIT TO ESTABLISH A <br />DOG GROOMING BUSINESS IN THE SINGLE i~'AMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT. <br /> <br /> WltEREAS, the City of Ramsey received an application from Jutie M. Kucia for a home <br />occupation permit to establish and operate a dog grooming business on the property generally <br />known as 16511 Yttrium Street N.W. and legally described as follows: <br /> <br />The north 200 feet of the south 405 feet of the east 220 feet of the Southeast Quarter of <br />Section 10, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota (subject to road easement <br />over the west 33 feet thereof). <br /> <br />(the "Subject Property"). <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA that the findings of fact relating <br />to the request are determined to be as follows: <br /> <br />That Julie M. Kucia, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", is a co-resident on the Subject <br />Property which is owned and occupied by David L. Kollins. <br /> <br />That the applicant appeared before the Ramsey Planning Commission for a public hearing <br />pursuant to Sections 9.11.04 (Home Occupation Permit) and 9.03.04 (Conditional Use <br />Permit) of the City Code on October 6, 1998, and that said public hearing was properly <br />advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated as a part of <br />these findings by reference. <br /> <br />2. That the Subject Property and surrounding parcels are zoned R-1 Rural Residential. <br /> <br />3. That the Subject Property is approximately I acre in size. <br /> <br />That Section 9.20.1t (R-1 Rural Residential District) does not establish 'professional <br />services' as a permitted use of property ha this District. <br /> <br />That the Applicant has provided documentation to support that the home occupation will be <br />conducted within the private dwelling on the Subject Property and that the area set aside for <br />the home occupation (I88 square feet) does not exceed 20% of the total floor area of the <br />private dwelling (1,350 square feet). <br /> <br />That the Applicant has stated that the home occupation will not include any employment of <br />persons not residing in the private dwelling in the performance of the home occupation. <br /> <br />That the Applicant has stated that there will be no exterior storage of business equipment, and <br />materials. <br /> <br />I <br />i <br />! <br />! <br />I <br />! <br />!i <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />! <br />I <br /> <br /> <br />
