DRAFT <br /> <br />Community Development Director Sherman stated three letters were received, two opposing the <br />application and one opposing only the sign request. She indicated the applicant had not yet seen <br />the letters of opposition. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Anderson, seconded by Commissioner Jensen, to enter the letters from <br />Rose Johnson, Jan Marks and Mr. and Mrs. Curtis into the record. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Acting Chairperson Deemer, Commissioners Anderson, Jensen, <br />LaDue, and Wivoda. Voting No: None. Absent: Chairperson Bawden. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Kathleen Curtis, 16561 Yttrium Street NW, stated opposition of the applicant's request for a <br />business in Ms. Kucia's home. The neighborhood is a residential area and she stated concern that <br />if the application is granted, others may follow. She expressed concern regarding increased traffic <br />levels and child safety. She stated vehicles frequently exceed 30/VfPH on their street. <br /> <br />Rose Johnson, 16540 Yttrium Street NW, stated concerns regarding increased traffic levels with <br />the proposed business, no fence on the proposed site to restrain the dogs, and child safety from <br />the additional dogs and the applicant's own'Pitbull. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Wivoda, seconded by Commissioner Jensen, to close the public heating <br />at 7:44 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Acting Chairperson Deemer, Commissioners Wivoda, Jensen, <br />Anderson, and LaDue. Voting No: None.
