Dear $im~ For the last month or so we have been revie'~ting the draft plan with the Pla~nlng Commission and City Council in various workshops and meetings. Our services for this task are outlined in our original contract as Task 7.1. We had budgeted two meetings for this purpose and have held those meetings on September 102 and October 8n. Another workshop has been scheduled with the City Council and Planning Commission on November 17~ to focus specifically on Land Use and Transportation. While this meeting is not in our contract, we feel it is necessary given the change in City Council and the need for the City Council, Planning Commission and staff to develop a sound understanding of the plan, its process and implications. We are reques~ng that the City approve an amendment to the contra~t for any future addiOonal meetings that are planned and or may be needed in the future. This would include the workshop on November and any additional meeting other than the Planning Commission Public Hearing. The amendrr~nt to the contract includes additional meetings at a fee not to exceed $500 per meeting. This fee includes preparation time, expenses, travel time, meeting attendance and any summary work that may be needed. Please let me know if the City is in agreement to this amendment. Sincerely,.
