A~HORZ~Y <br /> <br />This Ordinance is adopted pursuant to ~e au~ority ~ran~ed ~e <br />City Council by Sections 2.2 and 3.4 of the Ramsey City ~a~er. <br /> <br />~e pu~ose of ~is Ordinance is to: <br /> <br /> 1. Change the n~e of ~e Fire Board to the ~lic Safety <br /> Boar~; and <br /> <br /> 2. ~end the duties of ~e Board to apply to the Police <br /> Depa~ent in addition to ~e Fire Depa~ment. <br /> <br />Section 2.03.06 of t~e City Code is amended to provided as follows: <br /> <br />SUbd, 4. <br /> <br />Ds <br /> <br />__l~li=~afet¥ Board. The primary function of the <br />Public Safety Board is to review administrative <br />and/or operational matters relative to public <br />safety and to advise the City Council of policy <br />matters relevant to public safety functions in <br />Ra~sey.
