REVISED MNRRA WORK PLAN <br /> <br />TASK1 <br /> <br />Review MNRRA Comprehensive Management Plan, meet with DNR, <br />NPS and Met Council Staffto develop understanding of the program. <br /> <br />TASK2 <br /> <br />Review City of Ramsey Environmental ordinance for compliance with <br />policies and goals set forth in the CMP specifically with the Critical River <br />Area including the review of comments provided by the DNR and~ <br />Metropolitan Council. <br /> <br />TASK3 <br /> <br />Information mapping of River Corridor including identification of natural <br />features, historical and cultural framework, strengths, weaknesses, <br />opportunities and threats. <br /> <br />TASK4 <br /> <br />Meetings with city staff and other government units including Planning <br />Commission, Park Commission, neighboring communities with frontage <br />on the Mississippi, Anoka County, DNR, Met Council, and NPS. <br /> <br />TASK5 <br /> <br />Formulate public meeting agenda to educate public on MNRRA <br />intentions, obtain input from community as to which TIER II objectives <br />the City of Ramsey should identify and pursue through the Critical Area <br />Plan. <br /> <br />TASK6 <br /> <br />Schedule and conduct public meeting. <br /> <br />TASK7 <br /> <br />Prepare draft of the Critical Area Plan to include summary of public <br />meetings, identification of TIER II objectives and implementation plan for <br />TIER II objectives. <br /> <br />TASK8 <br /> <br />Present draft to Planning Commission and Park Commission in joint <br />workshop. <br /> <br />TASK9 <br /> <br />Revise Ordinance and Codes to comply with MNRRA CMP, Executive <br />Order 79 and applicable state statues and Critical Area Plan. <br /> <br />TASK10 <br /> <br />Link the Critical River Area Plan to the Comprehensive Plan and hold <br />public heatings for formal approvals. <br /> <br />4 Iq <br /> <br /> <br />
