PHASE II

Task
Survey stakeholders to ascertain which
MNRRA Tier II objectives are desired.

Status
We are beginning to plan for a public
meeting, using HKG, Inc. to conduct the
meeting, and which may include
neighboring cities on the same topic, to
obtain input from the community as to
which TIER II objectives the City of
Ramsey should research and pursue
through the Critical Area Plan.

Develop strategies for obtaining the
identified Tier II objectives.

Using the survey findings, determine the
viability of different plans that address each
element of the MNRRA comprehensive
management plan as they relate to the
identified Tier II objectives.

Conduct a public hearing to receive input
from citizens regarding proposed TIER II
objectives.

Coordinate planning and implementation of
the comprehensive management plan
objectives with local, state and federal
agencies, including Anoka, Elk River,
Anoka County Parks, Minnesota
Department of Transportation (MNDOT),
and others.

Conclusion

The City of Ramsey's progress has been slow. Our consultant for the
comprehensive plan has drafted a revised work plan and time schedule for accomplishing
the key tasks and meeting the deadline. However, it is our estimation that we will need
an extension to meet the goals and expectations outlined in the grant agreement. The
following two pages show our revised work plan and time schedule. The Midterm
Financial Report is on page 6.
