Absent: Councilmember Haas Steffen. <br /> <br />Case #4: Award Contract for Improvement Project #97-23 Business Park 95 7th <br /> Addition Sewer, Water and Street Im. provements <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski explained that Improvement Project #97-23 consists of the installation <br />of 1,200 feet of Radium Street and the sanitary sewer, watermain, and storm sewer associated <br />with it. The installation of these utilities are essential for the development of two industrial <br />properties which are proposed to be developed by Peck Properties and Northern Air Gas. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beahen and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to adopt Resolution <br />#98-04-058 awarding Improvement Project #97-23 to W.B. Miller, Inc. in the amount of <br />$256,534.50. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamee, Councilmembers Beahen, Beyer and Zimmerman. <br />Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #5: Ramsey Fire Fighters Application for a Two-Day 3.2 Beer License <br /> <br />The Ramsey Fire Fighters are applying for a two-day, 3.2 beer license for a two-day softball <br />tournament at Ramsey Central Park on June 13, and 14, 1998. The Fire Fighters have provided <br />all.of the necessary documents required to issue this type of license. It is permissible, under City <br />Code, to grant a non-intoxicating malt liquor license to the Ramsey Fire Fighters for this event. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Beahen and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to approve the <br />application for the Ramsey Fire Fighters for a two-day, 3.2 beer license for the event to be held at <br />Central Park on June 13 and 14, 1998, and to approve the request for fee waiver. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
