REVIEW PROPOSED TROTT BROOK TRAIL CORRIDOR
By: Mark Boos, Parks/Utilities Supervisor

CASE #4

Background:

As the Commission is aware, the proposed Trott Brook trail, if completed, will be the most
significant recreational resource in the City. This trail is proposed to receive some research and
planning efforts as part of the 1999 budget. In addition, the draft Five Year Parks C.I.P. shows
construction of the trail initiated as soon as 2004.

Observations:

The purpose of tiffs case is to begin the periodic review of the project, including identifying
probable alignments. Identifying a trail's physical location within the Trott Brook Valley is
especially important if or when negotiations with land owners for land acquisition begins. An
aerial photo of the entire corridor will be available at the meeting for this initial review.

Commission Action:

None required.

Reviewed by:

Parks/Utilities Supervisor

PR:09/10/98

@shared/parks/98agenda/09
