The first year Arc will facilitate support groups and two <br />workshops. In the successive years interest and frequency <br />will be determined by the participants. <br /> <br />Briefly describe the community problems that the <br />activity address. <br /> <br />Individuals with developmental disabilities and their <br />families often experience stress and isolation because they <br />are forced to deal with many complex systems involving <br />medical, educational, social services, and financial issues <br />associated with having a child with a disability at the same <br />time dealing with emotional aspect. Families turn to Arc for <br />information, opportunities to network and gain support from <br />other families, sibling support resources and individual <br />assistance. The need for support and information is life- <br />long process. As children grow the needs, services and <br />systems change. Arc remains an important resource to help <br />families through these transitions. <br /> <br />VI. <br /> <br />Summarize the funding <br /> <br />A. Total revenue needed: <br />B.
