To this end, the Commission has allocated up to
$3,200 for benches, trash receptacle(s), top soil and plant materials. Because all volunteer effort is
counting towards this project, I recommend that notes are taken from all contacts made, including
organizing this spring project. In addition, the City will need all receipts as well as a listing of the
times and dates any equipment is used. As stated, the City is very excited about not only the direct
result of the landscape improvements, but also about the positive example your association's
efforts are yielding.

It is my intention to ask that both the Anoka County Union and Quad Cities Cable Television cover
the actual planting event. For this and other reasons as much warning of the planting date as
possible will be appreciated. Anoka County Corrections will also benefit from maximum lead
time.

As always, feel free to call on me for questions or assistance.

Sincerely,

CITY OF RAMSEY

Mark Boos
Parks/Utilities Supervisor

MB/jek

City Council
Park and Recreation Commission
Ryan Schroeder, City Administrator
Jessie Hart, Finance Officer

Shared/Pa~ks/Let Lawful Gamb Funds Northfork
