Mr. Reid Droegemueller, President <br />Ramsey Youth Athletic Association <br />16159 Marble St. <br />Ramsey, MN 55303 <br /> <br />Subject: Award of 1997 Lawful Gambling Fund Improvement Program <br /> <br />Dear Reid, <br /> <br />Congratulations on the Park and Recreation Commission's award of Lawful Gambling Program <br />funds for the batting cage at Central Park! <br /> <br />As you are aware, the Commission voted to fund the Scholastic Batting Tunnel for up to $800, <br />which includes shipping and any necessary concrete. In terms of the process, I would recommend <br />that the frame and net be ordered as soon as possible, with installation occurring when the frost has <br />left the ground in early to mid April. Please ensure you save all receipts and documentation for our <br />auditors. This would include names, the days and times worked for all volunteers, including <br />yourself. After the project is complete, the Ramsey Youth Athletic Association will receive a single <br />check, based on the presented documentation. <br /> <br />Together, we will determine the exact placement of the structure after the snow melts when we can <br />locate the underground irrigation, telephone, power and gas lines.
