Interior urdts will be approximately $P$,000.

Commissioner Deemer asked if there will be brick veneer, lvir. Shellerud answered, yes.
Commissioner Thorud asked if parking will be allowed on the street.

Mr. Shellerud anm, vered that there will be two spaces in the garage, room for two cars in the driveway
and guest parking at the ends of the streets. PartS. ug will not be allowed on the street.

Commissioner lensen asked for a description of the landscaping.

Mr. SheIlerad stated that there will be many two-inch burr oak trees and some maple, which ~ be
10 to 12 feet high aher being planted.

City Engineer 3'ankowski noted tl~ the conifers in the landscaping ar~ four feet, but code requirement
is a minimum of five feet. Mr. Shellerad stated that he would have no problam meeting that

Commissioner Deemer stated that he b~eves the developer should be allowed to choose the style
of curbing.

City Engineer 3'ankowski stated that his concern is for on-street parking. The width of the main
middle street is proposed at 30 feet. He wants to zaake sure that any parking is rera-icted to one ~ide,
so that there is a clear path for emergency vekicles.

Mr. Shellerud stated that he has no problem with full curb and gutter on the main middle street, and
it i's his intention to allow parking on one side on that street. There will be no parking on the
residential streets between builcHng% except at the ends where space will be provided.

City tSngineer ~'ankowski stated that the ]3 style curb is superior and acts as a bm-ret conduit for storm
water because it is higher. He would recommend the B style curb on the ~ide steets as well as the
spine street.

Planning Commission/March 4, 1997

I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
!
I
