q~ MAYOR/COUNCIL INPUT 1) Dinner Meeting The Anoka County Leadership reception is scheduled for April 11, 1997. 2) Adult Bookstore Councilmember Zimmerman asked about the Adult Bookstore being in conformance with regard to their signs. City Attorney Goodrich stated that the Zoning Administrator is working on that fight now. Councilmember Zimmerman asked about the percent of gross receipts as it pertains to adult use. Mr. Schroeder replied that less than 10% of his floor space is dedicated to adult use but he was not sure about the gross receipts. Motion by Mayor Gamec and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to send a letter to the owner of the Adult Bookstore formally requesting information on his gross sales receipts. The information received should be brought back to the Council. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Zimmerman, Beahen and Haas Steffen. Voting No: None. Absent: CouncilmemberBeyer. 3) Shade Tree Awards Lunch Mr. Schroeder announced the Minnesota Shade Tree Advisory Committee Awards Luncheon is scheduled for March 27, 1997, from noon to 2:00 p.m. 4) Barkela Manufacturing Tour ,, Mr. Schroeder announced the Barkela Manufacturing facility tour scheduled for 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 12, 1997. 5) Anoka Electric Walk Through Mr. $chroeder announced the Anoka Electric Cooperative walk through for City Council scheduled for 5:00'p.m., Monday, March 24, 1997. 6) Landmark Ground Breaking Mr. Schroeder announced the groundbreaking for Landmark Community Bank scheduled for Wednesday, March 19, 1997, at 5:00 p.m. City Council/March 11, 1997 Page 12 of 13 I I I i I I I I I I I I i I I I I I I
