C. Land Company. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Chairperson David Bawden <br />Commissioner Benjamin Deemer <br />Commissioner Paul Holland <br />Commissioner Sharon Jensen <br />Commissioner Charles LaDue <br />Commissioner Bradley Thorud <br /> <br />Members Absent: Commissioner Michael Terry <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Engineer Steve J'ankowski <br /> <br />CAJ_,L TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson Bawden opened the public hearing at 8:08 p.m. <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR PRE~A_RY PLAT APPROVAL OF ALPINE ESTATES; CASE OF <br />K.C. ~ COMtANY <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski stated that the property is located north of 153rd Avenue and was formerly <br />owned by a waste management company. The Ci.ty acquired the property as part of ctosure with the <br />waste management company, The City entered into a purchase agreement for d¢velopment of the <br />property and has conducted several neighborhood meetings. The proposed plat consists of 21 acres <br />to be developed into not more than 38 lots. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INFUT <br /> <br />Mr. Douglas Fountain, 15255 Garnet Street, stated that he lives on the west end of the proposed <br />development. He stated that he is not opposed to the project but expressed surprise that cul-de-sacs <br />are proposed because the City has had numerous discussions about cul-de-sacs. The lowest elevation <br />is on the west end of the development.
