END PRODUCT: An understanding and agreement between the City and DSU regarding the work program, project schedule, and the Comprehensive Planrfing process. TASK 102: BASE MAPPING DSU utilizes GIS technology (the same as Anoka County) in order to supply our clients with the tools to assist them throughout the planning process and into the future. An accurate and up-to- date base map is essential to the preparation of a comprehensive plan. Anoka County has a nUmber of coverages for the City of Ramsey in ArcView format. ~~_e 'l~.~l~'~ ~,. ~, ~:~r our use in this plannin~~ ~ ~~~,,p~,~~h~i will be utilized to develop an ex/sting land use map, existing zonin~ use plan, transportation plan and natural resource map. These maps will then be utilized at an appropriate scale for recording and presenting information pertaining to the Comprehensive Plan.
