CITY OF /~MBEY ANOKA COUNTY ~TAT~ OF KINN~SOTA AN ORDI2FANCE IKPLF2tE~ING CttAPTER ,B. 6 0F THE RAMSEY CITY The City of Kamsey ordains: SECTION 1. AUTHORITY This Ordinance is adopted ,pursuant to the authority granted the City Council by Section 12.12 of the Ramsay City Charter. SECTION 2. ~gE A~D A~PLIC~TLIT~. The purpose of this Ordinance is to provide uniform regulations to carry out and make effective Section 8.6 of the city Charter. This Ordinance applies to any residential improved property in the City, which property has Urban Services (sewer and/or water) available to it and ~hich property has not bean assessed for the benefit of said Urban Services. SECTION 3. DEFINITIONS As used in this Ordinance, the following tel-ms have the meanings provided in this section unless the context clearly requires otherwise. 8ubd. I "Functional private sewer and water systems" means a non-municipal on-site sewer system and water system which complies with all city of Ramsay and State of Minnesota health and pollution control regulations. Subd. 2 Subd. 3 As used in Section 8.6:3 of the City Charter, the term "original assessment" shall mean that the initial assessment 8~nount which would have been assessed and levied against a property for a Local Improvem~_nt PToJ act whioh first extended Urban Services (sewer and/or water) to said property. As used in Section 8.6.3 of the City Chez-tar, an assessment which is "consistent with the original assessment" is that amount which would be a~sessed and levied against a property for a Local Improvement Project which extended Urban Services (sewer and/or water} to said property as if said Urban Services were installed at the time the property connects to the City's sewer and/or water utilities.
