SECTION 4. PROHIBITION. <br /> <br /> During the term of this Ordinance, notwithstanding Chapter 9 <br />of the City Code, entitled "Zoning and Subdivision of Land," no <br />rezoning, subdivision or platting of any land within the City shall <br />be permitted and no applications for said rezoning and subdivision <br />or platting shall be accepted, except for those lands identified in <br />Sections 5 and 6 below. <br /> <br />SECTION 5. EXCLUSIONS. <br /> <br /> The following lands within the city are excluded from this <br />Interim Ordinance: <br /> <br />(~) <br /> <br />Ail land currently located within the City's following <br />listed zoning districts and which land is located within <br />the City's Metropolitan Urban Service Area (MUSA): <br /> <br />B-1 Business Zoning District; <br /> <br />B-2 Business Zoning District; <br /> <br />B-3 Highway Business Zoning District; <br /> <br />B-W Business/Warehousing District; <br /> <br />RB Rural Business District; <br /> <br />I Industrial District; and <br /> <br />R-1 Rural Industrial District. <br /> <br />(2) <br /> <br />Any lands for which the city Council has approved, prior <br />to the effective date of this Ordinance, a preliminary or <br />final plat. <br /> <br />SECTION 6. UNDUE HARDSHIP EXCEPTIONS. <br /> <br /> The City Council may grant an exception to the provisions of <br />this Ordinance when, in its opinion, undue hardship may result from <br />strict compliance. In granting an exception, the City Council <br />shall prescribe any conditions that it deems necessary- -to or <br />desirable for the protection of the public interest.
