I <br />I <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br />I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br />I <br /> <br />· Attend two meetings with Ramsey City representatives prior to finalizing plans <br />· Prepare all necessary permit applications for the construction of the project, including <br /> submission of a permit application to the Lower Rum River Watershed Management <br /> Organization, Anoka County Highway, and MPCA <br />· Prepare final cost estimate <br />· Solicit and obtain bids <br />· Provide project observation by a registered professional engineer <br />· Review shop drawings and change orders, prepare and certify payment requests <br /> <br />Technical Engineering Services: <br /> <br />The consultant shall provide the following technical services: <br /> <br />· Construction staking and project construction inspection <br />· Preparation ofas-built plans <br /> <br />Compensation: <br /> <br />The consultant shall submit a proposal for compensation as follows: <br /> <br />· Basic engineering services shall be compensated on an hourly basis with a not-to-exceed <br /> maximum <br />· Technical services shall be billed on an hourly basis. An estimate of the cost of technical <br /> services shall be submitted for budgetary purposes. <br /> <br />Schedule: <br /> <br />The proposal shall be submitted to the City of Ramsey no later than 5:00 p.m., Thursday, May <br />22, 1997. Award of the work is anticipated by the City Council at their May 27, 1997, meeting, <br />and work may commence immediately thereafter. Plan and specs should be finalized by June 10, <br />1997, and substantial completion of the work is desired by August 31, 1997.
