zoater bodies, and estimate the discharge impact on the quality of receiving waters. If the
project involves on-site sewage systems, discuss the suitability of site conditions for such
systems.
If wastes will be discharged into a publicly owned treatment facility, identid5d the facility,
describe any pretreatment provisions and discuss the facility's ability to handle the
volume and composition of zoastes, identidqying any improvements necessary.
Does not apply

Observe the following points of guidance in an A UAR:

-only domestic zoastezoater should be considered in an A UAR - industrial wastewater
would be coming from industrial uses that are excluded from review through an A UAR
process;
-zoastewater flows should be estimated by land use subareas of the A UAR area; the basis
of flow estimates should be explained;
-the major sewer system features should be shozon on a map and the expected flows
should be identified;
-if not explained under item 6, the expected staging of the sezoer system construction
should be described; and
-the relationship of the sewer system extension to the RGU' s comprehensive sezoer plan
and (for metro area A UARs) to Metropolitan Council regional systems plans, including
MUSA expansions, should be discussed.

Not applicable.

19.

Geological hazards and soil conditions

a. Approximate depth (in feet): to ground water: 4 ft. Min. 10 ft. Avg.
To bedrock: 120 ft. Min. 160 ft. Avg.

Describe any of the following geolog& site hazards to groundwater and also identiJiy them on the
site map: sinkholes, shallozo limestone formations or karst conditions. Describe measures to
avoid or minimize environmental problems due to any of these hazards.

c. Describe the soils on the site, giving NRCS (SCS) classification, if known. Discuss soil
granularihy and potential for groundwater contamination from wastes or chemicals
spread or spilled onto the soils. Discuss any mitigation measures to prevent such
contamination.

For an A UAR, a map should also be included to show any groundwater hazards
identified. A standard soils map for the area should be included.

Not applicable.

20.

Solid wastes; hazardous wastes; storage tanks

a. Describe hypes, amounts and compositions of solid or hazardous wastes, including soild
animal manure, sludge and ash, produced during construction and operation. Identify
methods and location or disposal. For projects generating municipal solid waste, indicate
if there is a source separation plan; describe how the project will be modified for rec~ycling.

RAMSEY TH 10 CORRIOOR AUAR 16
