The City <br />must decide if any of the following options would be used in an agreement: tax <br />abatement, transfer of development rights, dedications, land exchange, voluntary <br />reservation of a portion of the property by the developer for the needed right-of-way, <br />interim uses of the property to allow the landowner income, and other items that may be <br />brought up by a developer that would be of particular interest and benefit to them. <br />Creativity and flexibility is the key to minimizing damages while working toward a <br />positive solution with the developer(s). <br /> <br />Seek opportunities to manage and reduce accesses during site pIan and subdivision <br />reviews, as well as improving existing access.
