Our review has focused on the following parameters: <br /> · Water Supply <br /> Water Distribution (flow, pressure, fire protection, sttrage) <br /> · Sanitary Sewer Collection System (sewer size, materials, conflicts with storm sewer) <br /> · General Construction Issues <br /> <br />A) Water Supply, <br /> 1. Well No. 6 is proposed offofCivic Center Drive and Zeolite ;Street (see Sheet 151). <br /> Approximately 3,300 L.F. of 10" raw water transmission main is proposed to be routed to Well <br /> House No. 3. The proposed 10" raw water transmission main should be changed to a 12" main to <br /> address friction/headloss issue~. Well House No. 3 has a 12" watermain stub available for Well <br /> No. 6. At Well House No. 3, a raw water transmission main is routed north to Bunker Lake <br /> Boulevard. The connection to this raw water transmission line is not clearly shown at the Well <br /> House on either Sheet 150 or Sheet 162. The existing 16" water transmission main from Well <br /> House No. 3 is not shown. The 16" water transmission main should be shown instead of the 10". <br /> raw main shown north of the Well-House location. The appropriate valving is required at this <br /> location. <br /> 2. At the intersection of East Town Center Drive and Bunker Lake Boulevard (sheet 149), the routing <br /> of the existing 16" main from Well House Nol 3 is not shown as constructed. A realignment of this <br /> main is required based on the proposed system/road layout. The 16" main from Well No. 3 would <br /> need to be separated from the distribution main and connected to the raw water transmission main <br /> at this intersection when a Water Treatment Facility is constructed. <br /> 3. A I0" raw transmission main is shown along Bunker Lake Boulevard (sheets 160 and 162). This <br /> main west of intersection of Town Center Drive (West of the connection from Well House No. 3) <br /> will need to be increased in size to a 16-inch main between Town Center Drive and the connection <br /> with Well No. 8, and incr'eased to a 20-inch main west of the Well No. 8 connection. <br /> 4. Well No. 7 is·proposed to be located north along Armstrong Boulevard, in the vicinity of the fire <br /> station (based on correspondence with Kevin Miller at ERRS). <br /> 5. Well No. 8 is proposed in the N.W. quadrant of the Ramsey Town Center (sheet 160). A 10" raw <br /> water connection is proposed to be raw water transmission main along Bunker Lake Boulevard. <br /> Well No. 8 will require a well house (for metering purposes). <br /> 6. For each well, the minimum area required (100' x 100') has been shown.
