Architecture <br /> <br />TC4 Doors and Windows <br />· Windows area should be maximized <br />· Windows should provide diversity <br />along street facades <br />· Window glass should be clear. <br />Mirrored, reflective, and/or highly tinted <br />glazing is not allowed <br />· Public/visitor access doors to be <br />provided on all streets that allow on <br />street parking (at either side oi the <br />street) <br />· Windows to be provided on all street <br />facing facades and building ends visible <br />from the street <br />· Buildings located at property corners <br />should have relatively equal amounts of <br />glazing on both facades <br />· Windows to be provided into below <br />grade levels that extend more than 3' <br />above grade <br /> <br />TC4 Materials <br />· A diverse mix of materials should be <br />used in a variety o'~' proportions, length <br />of exposure and detailing along any <br />given street, and block <br /> <br />· Detailing and mix of materials should <br />include smaller scale elements to appeal <br />to pedestrian activity. Smaller scale <br />architectural elements (i.e. bay window) <br />are encouraged. Material and/or color <br />changes at these elements are also <br />encouraged <br /> <br />· Material use should enhance <br />proportioning and sense of rhythm along <br />the street <br />· Large expanses of continuous siding <br />should not be used at any location facing <br />a street <br /> <br /> <br />
