Architecture <br /> <br />TC4 Building Design, Character and <br />Expression <br />· Buildings should express a residential <br />neighborhood through the definition and <br />identification of individual units within a <br />larger building <br />· Roof styles to be mixed and varied <br />along any street, and shall have a mix of <br />orientations of the roof structure <br />· Each building along any given block <br />frontage should have a distinctly <br />different elevation or consist of high <br />quality materials and design or establish <br />a strong rhythm. <br /> <br />TC4 Street Presence <br />· Design Residential units with ground <br />floor access should have individual <br />entrances on the primary facade <br />· Entrances to be articulated such that <br />each individual unit entry is easily <br />recognized <br />· Public / visitor access doors to be <br />provided on all streets that allow on <br />street parking (at either side of the <br />street). Residential units located on <br />streets without visitor parking (i.e. <br />Bunker Hills Boulevard) are required to <br />treat the street elevation as the primary <br />elevation with architectural features and <br />elements (i.e. covered porches, bay <br />windows etc.) <br />· End units of residential buildings <br />should provide windows as well as other <br />design features to provide character at <br />each end. Mostly blank walls are not <br />allowed at drives or at corners <br />· Corner buildings shall address both <br />street-facing facades and treat both <br />sides as primary elevations <br />° Outdoor living space should be <br />provided along public streets <br /> <br />TC4 Scale, Proportion & Buiidin9 Massing <br />· Individual unit entries should be expressed through changes in height, scale or <br />massing <br />· Single story portions of any facade shall not be greater than 20% of the total length <br />of the street <br />· All street frontage to be provided with diverse elements of different heights that vary <br />from the predominate building height (porches, entry canopies, bay extensions...) <br /> <br /> <br />
