-2- <br /> <br />The reconstruction portion of the 5 Year Plan focuses on the completion of the East <br />River Road corridor, Lexington Avenue improvement from the south county line to <br />149th Avenue, interchange improvements at Lake Drive and County Road J at 1-35W <br />and a new interchange at Main Street and 1-35W. The plan also includes interchange <br />improvements at TH 10 and Hanson Boulevard. It is unlikely that all of these <br />interchange improvements would proceed unless additional outside funding becomes <br />available to Anoka County. These projects will be submitted for consideration <br />regionally for federal funding during the next solicitation. <br /> <br />Again, it is with pleasure that I submit this 5 Year Highway Improvement Plan for your <br />consideration and encourage the County Board to continue to support preserving the <br />back bone of the Anoka County Highway System over the next 5 year period. <br /> <br />dmh/2FIVE <br /> <br /> <br />
