§ 8.30 <br /> <br />b. System Repairs. At such time that the owner observes a <br /> <br /> malfunction of the system, the owner shall immediately notify the <br /> plumbing inspector of the problems. Required maintenance shall <br /> be arranged for by the owner to maintain proper system <br /> operation. <br /> <br />Sub& & Costs. <br /> <br /> a. Routine Maintenance. Costs incurred for such routine cleaning <br /> as referred to in §8.30.06 sh~l~ be borne by the property owner. <br /> <br /> b. Non-Routine Mainten~-ce. All other costs incurred to maintain <br /> system operability shall be directly absorbed by the owner. <br /> <br /> Subd. 4. Disposal. Disposal of tank p~r~ping, box cleaning, or other <br />material shall be at agency-approved locations. Distribution box cleanings may be <br />clisposed of in the individual disposal system, provided the system's operation is not <br />hindered by so doing. <br /> <br />8.30.07 Systems inventory. The pl~rnbing inspector shall create, update, and <br />maintain an accurate inventory of all individual sewage disposal systems within <br />the R~rnsey corporate limits. Information to be recorded shall include, but not be <br />limited to: <br /> a. Location; <br /> b. Description of original installation; <br /> c. Improvements made; <br /> d. Pumping records; <br /> e. Soil types. <br /> <br />8.30.08 Health balm'ds. <br /> <br /> Subdivision 1. General Ail systems which are in a state of disrepair <br />and/or improperly constructed, or wl'Jch in relation to existing use constitute a <br />hazard to safety or health or public welfare by reason of either inadequate <br />maintenance or construction, dilapidation, or obsolescence, as determ~ned.by the <br />inspection procedures in §8.80.05 or any other effective section or city code, are for <br />the purpose of this chapter hereby declared to be health hazards. All such health <br />hazards shall be abated by repair, rehabilitation, demolition, or removal in <br />accordance with the procedure specified in §$.20.05 Subd. 2. <br /> <br />Sub& 2~ Notice To Owner. <br /> <br />The plumbing inspector shall examine, or cause to be examined, <br />and inspect every sewage disposal system reported as. improperly <br />constructed or maintained in accord with the inspection <br />procedures as prescribed in Chapter 8.30.05, and if such system is <br />found to be a health hazard as defined in this section, the <br />plumbing inspector shall give to the owner of such system written <br />notice stating the defects thereof.
