Records relating to any system <br />installation or renovation shall be retained for a period of three years following <br />completion of that activity, and copies of the same shall be transr~itted to the <br />pl-mbing inspector. Licensees shall make available all information, files and <br />records, and other information required to be maintained to the aam~uistrator at <br />any time on the transmission of a reasonable request relating thereto. Pump- <br />Hauler licensees shall keep records of the location of disposal of pumped septage <br />and date of disposal. <br /> <br />8.30.06 <br /> <br /> Subdivision L Municipal Responsibilifie.~ <br /> <br /> a. Routine Clennlng. As stated in §8.30.05 Subd. 2c, each waste <br /> disposal system shall be inspected on a biennial basis. <br /> Maintenance of the system shall be required 'when the sludge <br /> reaches a point 12 inches below the bottom of the outlet baffle <br /> and/or the sum reaches a point 3 inches above the bottom of the <br /> outlet baffle. <br /> <br /> At the instruction of the pl,:mbing inspector or his designated <br /> representative, the owner shall pump his sep'~.ic tank. Semi- <br /> annual pumping may be required as normal routine <br /> maintenance. A certificate of pumping and a pumping pernmit <br /> shall be required and can be obtained from the plumbing <br /> inspector. One copy of the p~_~rnping permit, containing the <br /> information specified on the p~rnping form shall be returned to <br /> the p]~rnbing inspector and kept on file. For systems equipped <br /> with a distribution ~ud/or dosing box, the owner shall arrange for <br /> the open~ng of the box and removal of any settled solids therein at <br /> least once a year. At the time of cleaning, the pl~rnbing inspector <br /> shall certify that scum and/or sludge levels have been reduced to <br /> acceptable levels. <br />b. Scheduling and notification- The pl~rnbing inspector or his <br /> designated representative shall maintain a detailed record of all <br /> routine cleaning and inspections and shall notify the entire City <br /> semi-annually of the need for routine maintenance of their on-site <br /> systems. <br /> <br />Sutxi 2.
