';ouncilrnemb=r Hmrd. m introduced the following resolution mhd movc. d for its ~opdon: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ~t93-05-098 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING THE CITY OF RAMSEY'S POLICY ON EXPENDITURES OF <br />THE CHARITABLE GAMBLING SPECIAL REVENUE FUND (CITY FUND ~'~'270) <br /> <br /> V~I-IEREAS, m thc Budget Cornmittr~ meeting of April 2.8, 1992, Staff mcommencigd that, pursuant <br />to MS 349.12, Subdivision 11, Subparagraph 7, proceeds realized into the charkabl¢ gambling speciaJ <br />avenue fund be expensed exclusively for recreation, community and athletic facilities inmnded primarily for <br />persons under age 21, provided that such facilities mad activities do not discriminate on the basis of a gender; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Staff further recommend, ed that charitable gambling revenue not be used for operating <br />equipment, supplies, wages or any other non-capi'~.l expen~mm; and <br /> <br /> ~rI-:fEREAS, the Budget Commitme unanimously approved a motion to recommend to City Council <br />adoption of this policy. " <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at the Finance Come/tree meeting of May 25, 1993, Staff recommended that the <br />Cit3,'s policy on expenditures of the Char/table Gambling Special Revenue Fund (CiD' Fund #270) be <br />m-nenrte~ by m:kl/ng the language in #'s 2, 3, 4 mad 5, below. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TIlE CITY COUNCIL OF TI-rE CITY OF <br />RAh4SEY, A.
