I <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br />,I <br /> <br />i <br /> <br /> I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Councilmember Peterson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #92-05-082 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br />EXPENDITURES <br />FUND #270) <br /> <br />ESTABLISHING THE CITY <br />OF THE CHARITABLE GAMBLING <br /> <br />OF RAMSEY'S POLICY ON <br />SPECIAL REVENUE FUND (CITY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at the Budget Committee meeting of April 28, 1992, Staff recommended that, pursuant <br />to MS 349.12, Subdivison 11, Subpara~aph 7, proceeds realized into the charitable gambling special revenue <br />fund be expensed exclusively for recreation, community and athletic facilities intended primarily for persons <br />under age 21, provided that such facilities and activities do not discriminate on the basis of a gender;, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Staff further recommended that charitable gambling revenue not be used for operating <br />equipment, supplies, wages or any other non-capital expenditure; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Budget Committee unanimously approved a motion to recommend to City Council <br />adoption of this policy. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIl., OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />I) <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council hereby adopts into policy that proceeds realized into the charitable <br />gambling special revenue fund be expensed exclusively for recreation, community and athletic facilities <br />intended primarily for persons under age 21, provided that such facilities and activities do not <br />discriminate on the basis of a gender and that such revenue not be used for operating equipment, <br />supplies, wages or an), other non-capital expenditure. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Hardin and <br />upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gilbertson <br />Councilmember Peterson <br />Councilmember Hardin <br />Cou ncilmem~r Beyer <br />Councilmember Zimmerrnan <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />~,~one <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />%,lone <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 12th <br /> <br /> /kfay or .... .
