This project was authorized as Improvement
Project #97-19, and the basis of the financing was outlined in the City Administrator's letter of
May 9, 1997, which proposed assessments totaling $12,000 being distributed among the four
property owners based upon front footage. The remainder of the project cost would be written
down by income from the TIF District.

At this point, it is necessary to hold a public hearing on the proposed assessments. The
improvements are anticipated to be completed on or about the date of the council meeting. The
amount of assessments will not change as they are agreed upon lump sums.

Council Action:

Hold public hearing.

-and- \

Motion to adopt resolution

adopting assessment for Improvement Project #97-19 (Utility and
Street Improvement to Azurite Street).

Review by:

City Engineer
City Administrator
Finance Officer

CC: 06/24/97

/jek
