WHEREAS, the City Administrator has determined that the petition is in proper form, <br />and has been signed by a sufficient number of voters; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey City staff will forward this petition to the Ramsey Charter <br />Commission on July 10, 1997. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council acknowledges receipt of the petition requesting a proposed <br />Charter amendment. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council acknowledges the number of voter signatures on the <br />petition and the form of the petition meets the requirements of said Minnesota State <br />Statutes 410.12. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council shall forward this petition to the Charter Commission for <br />its review and comment. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 8th day of July, 1997. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />Attest: <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />
