The City and the Contractor agree as follows: SECTION 1. PURPOSE The purpose of this agreement is to establish a curbside recycling project for the collection of recyclable materials from residents of the City of Rarasey. SECTION 2. DEFINITIONS For purposes of this Contract, the following words and terms shall have the definitions given them by this section. A. "CITY ADMINISTRATOR" means the then duly appointed and qualified City Administrator of the City of Ramsey. B. "CONTAINERS" means the plastic receptacles in which recyclable materials can be stored and later placed at curbside for collection as specified by the City. C. "RECYCLING PROGRAM" means the collecting of all recyclable materials accumulated in containers at residential properties located within the City and the transporting of the recyclable materials to a site where they can be processed for the marketplace as determined by the Contractor. D. "RECYCLABLE MATERIALS" means newsprint, glass, aluminum, steel and "tin" containers, mixed paper, corrugated cardboard and phone books; other materials as mutually agreed upon by the City and Contractor. SECTION 3. SERVICES TO BE PERFORMED A. The Contractor shall collect at curbside all recyclable materials from every residential property in the City at least twice each month during the term of this Contract. Collections shall be made on the alternating Mondays for each half of the City as designated on the attached map identified as Exhibit A of this contract. B. The Contractor shall not be required to make regular collections on State of Minnesota legal holidays; provided, however, that collection shall occur on the routes reasonably in
