Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #97-07- A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT RELATING TO A REQUEST FOR AN INTERIM USE PERMIT FOR A TEMPO~Y OFFICE STRUCTURE ON THE PROPERTY GENERALLY KNOWN AS 6100 INDUSTRY AVENUE NW WHEREAS, Transwest, Inc., hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", has properly applied for an Interim Use Permit to utilize a temporary office structure on the property generally known as 6100 Industry Avenue NW and legally described as follows: Lot 2, Block 1, Park 67 Industrial Park, Anoka County, Minnesota ("Subject Property") NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) 2) 3) 4) s) 6) 7) That the Applicant appeared before the Planning Commission for a public hearing pursuant to Section 9.03.04 of the Ramsey City Code on July 14, 1997, and that said public hearing was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated by reference. That the subject property is located in the Industrial District and is approximately 2.5 acres in size. That the surrounding parcels on the east, west and south are zoned Industrial and the property on the north side of Industry Avenue is zoned for single family residential. That the Applicant is proposing to place a 12' x 60' modular office structure on the subject property. That the Applicant has stated that the purpose of the temporary structure is to provide additional office space while assessing space needs and preparing a site plan to either expand on the current site or relocate to another site. That the Applicant is requesting the use of the temporary structure for a one (1) year period. That utilization of temporary structures is not a permitted use in any zone in the City or Ramsey. 8) That the City has granted similar permits in the past.
