During this process, the City received a right of entry to the property that
you currently own, identified as PINs 28-32-25-11-0006 and 28-32-25-12-0002.

The City is completing the installation associated with Well #3 and Wellhouse #2, which is located on the
southeastern corner of' the subject property. Our consultants have advised us that Well #4 needs to be
located a minimum of 1,000 feet from Well #3 to avoid excessive interwell interference, if placed in the
same aquifer. We have identified a 100 foot square parcel (I0,000 square feet) on the southwest corner of
the same property as a reasonable location for this well. It is my understanding that you have no
objections to the acquisition of either of these parcels for that purpose. Since I haven't been able to
discuss this with you personally, please verify this fact. It is my intention to acquire the property as
expeditiously as possible so that Well fi-4 can be in production by 1998. I plan to discuss this with the
City Council at their June 10, 1997 meeting, and request a resolution initiating condemnation on this
parcel similar to the action we undertook for the Well #3 parcel back in February. The City looks forward
to hearing from you regarding this issue.

Sincerely,

CITY OF RAMSEY
Steve Jankows~
City Engineer

SJjek

cc:

Ryan Schroeder, City Administrator
James Gromberg, Economic Development Coordinator
