Mr. Rambosek stated that one real estate agent withdrew from handlin~; the sale of his property, and <br /> the one he is currently working with has been in the business tot- 11 years. He noted that while the <br /> assessed property value may not change, the market value do¢$ change with the proximity of a <br /> monopole. He does not believe that moving the tower 600 feet to the east would affect the function <br /> of the tower. <br /> <br /> Ms. Jane Butler ~a~ed that she is a cancer patient and asked about the safety of radiation emission. <br /> <br /> Mr. Coyle responded that it is ha.,mless. The tower emits less power wattage than the remote control <br /> of a TV or a microwave oven. Radiation issues are exclusively regulated by the Federal <br /> Communications Commission (FCC). <br /> <br /> Commissioner Jensen asked if the City would receive a regulatory report fi.om the FCC. <br /> <br />Mr. Coyle stated that the FCC does not prepare inspection reports.
