Staff' recommends approval contingent upon compliance with the City Staff Review Letter dated <br />August 1, 1997, and the Business Park 95 covenants. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer, seconded by Commissioner Terry to recommend ~hat the City <br />Council approve the proposed site plan for Minnesota Tool & Die Works contingent upon <br />compllance with the City Staff Review Letter dated August I, 1997, and the Busdness Park 95 <br />covenants as reviewed by the Architectural Review Board. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Chairperson Bawden; Commissioners Deemer, Terry, Jensen, LaDuc. <br />Voting no: None. Absent: Commissioners Holland and Thomd. <br /> <br />Case #4: Request For An Interim Use Pea-mit For A Temporary Office Structure; <br /> Case ofAMCOR Precast <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that AMCOK officials have indicated that the economic climate <br />is not strong enough for a commitment to a permanent building on the current site. Therefore, a <br />request for a renewed intexim use permit for a temporary office structure for two years has been <br />submitted, as the company has signed a two-year lease on the property. Staff is recommending <br />approval for another 18 months, as the renewal should not extend beyond the original permit time <br />period. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer, seconded by Commissioner Jensen to approve and adopt the <br />findings of fact in the affirmative. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Bawden; Commissioners Deemer, Jensen, LaDue and <br />Terry. Voting N'o: None. Absent: CommlssionersHolland and Thomd. <br /> <br />Commissioner Deemer suggested extending the interim use permit until April 1, 1999, without a <br />further renewal option, <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik responded that the City Attorney needs to be consulted as to whether <br />the right to renew can be taken away. <br /> <br />Commissioner LaDue stated that he would prefer ~o not anticipate future action. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer, seconded by Commissioner Teny to amend the resolution to allow <br />the interim use permit until June 1, 1999, to correspond with the present lease ofAmcor Precast. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting yes: Chairperson Bawden; Commissioners Deemer, Terry, Jensen, LaDue. <br />Voting no: None.
