ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS: <br /> <br />The essential elements of this position are as follows: <br /> <br />A. 1-6. <br />B. 1-3. <br /> <br />TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: <br /> <br />Ability to read, write and follow basic instructions. Four years secretarial experience required. <br />Word processing application experience required. Good telephone and grammar skills and the <br />ability to work independently required. <br /> <br />SUPERVISION PROVIDED: <br /> <br />Frequent discussion with the Administrative Services Manager to further define policies and <br />procedures as well as independent judgments are used as resources for decision making. In most <br />circumstances related to the implementation of day-to-day job functions, the Recording Secretary <br />makes final decisions and recommendations with some latitude for independent judgment and <br />action. On matters of broader scope and/or variations from policy (formal or informal), the <br />approval of the Administrative Services Manager is obtained.
