I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />! <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />! <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Economic Development Commission conducted a regular meeting on Thursday, <br />August 7, 1997, at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Chairperson Ken Wagner <br />Commissionmember Harlan Anderson <br />Commissionmember David Kent <br />Commissionmember Lydia Scheiber <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Commissionmember Lisa Montague <br />Commissionmember Carolyn Nelson <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Economic Development Coordinator James Gromberg <br />Commission Candidate Chris Riley <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairperson Wagner called the regular meeting of the Economic Development Commission to <br />order at 6:35 p.m. <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Economic Development Coordinator Gromberg reported that tonight's agenda would focus <br />entirely on the Ramsey Business Appreciation Day scheduled for August 20, 1997. <br /> <br />Consensus of the Commission was to approve the agenda. <br /> <br />The Commission requested that the September agenda packet include minutes from June to the <br />present. <br /> <br />COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: <br /> <br />Business Appreciation Day <br /> <br />Economic Development Coordinator Gromberg noted August 20, 1997, is the date of the <br />Business Appreciation Day. At this time, the event has 30 Committed golf teams and a <br />significant number of door prizes that will be received prior to the event. Mr. Gromberg <br />provided the Commission with a list showing the teams, skill games for the hole sponsors, and <br />the list of door prizes committed to thus far.
