Each Commission member reported on their success of acquiring door prizes for the event. Due <br />to the long list of door prizes, the Commission determined they would not be purchasing a door <br />prize for the event. <br /> <br />Chairperson Wagner recommended that alt of the Commissionmembers double their efforts for <br />door prize collection to ensure that this is the best and largest in the history of the event. <br /> <br />Commissionmember Anderson offered to be a member of a golf foursome should a team need <br />someone. <br /> <br />COMMISSION INPUT: <br /> <br />1) Staff Updates <br /> <br />a) <br /> <br />Ground Breakings: Mr. Gromberg reminded the Commission about the ground <br />breaking for JMJ Business Center, scheduled for 5:30 p.m., August 13, 1997, and <br />the open house for the Vision-Ease facility on September 8, 1997. <br /> <br />b) <br /> <br />New Advertisement for Remainder of 1997: Mr. Gromberg provided the <br />Commission with a copy of the updated business advertising that will be used for <br />the remainder of 1997. This new advertisement shows the proposed resubdivision <br />of the Business Park and the sold properties. <br /> <br />c) <br /> <br />Project List: Mr. Gromberg distributed a list of the current projects that are <br />being completed or are under construction for the City of Kamsey. This list <br />indicates that the City could see an additional 480,000 square feet of new space. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissionmember Scheiber and seconded by Commissionmember Anderson to <br />adjourn the meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
