I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I Councilmember · . introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #97-10- ~ A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDING OF FACT #~ ~_,LATING TO A REQUEST ~o~ ~co~ ~ ,,om Jom~.s ~o~ ~ comm~om~ u~, ~,m~ ~o CONSTRUCT A METAL ACCESSORY BUILDING ON LESS THAN 2.5 ACRES WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey received an application from Scott and Lori Jones for a conditional use permit to construct a metal accessory building on less than 2.5 acres on the property generally known as 16000 St. Francis Blvd. N.W. and legally described as follows: Lot 8, Block 7, Hall Anderson Acres, Anoka County, Minnesota (the "Subject Property") NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA that the findings of fact relating to the request are determined to be as follows: That on September 16, 1997, Scott and Lori Jones, hereinafter referred to as "Applicants", properly applied for a conditional use permit to construct a metal accessory building on a parcel that is determined to be less than 2.5 acres in size. o That the applicant appeared before the Ramsey Planning Commission for a public hearing pursuant to Section 9.03.04 of the City Code on October 7, 1997, and that said public hearing was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated as a part of these findings by reference. 3. That the Subject Property and surrounding parcels are zoned R-1 Rural Residential. 4. That the Subject Property is approximately 1.7 acres in size. That Section 9.11.02 of the Ramsey City Code states that on parcels less than 2.5 acres in size, the accessory structure shall be built with the same type construction materials and shall have the same general design and exterior facing finish as that of the principal structure on the parcel. That the Applicant is proposing to construct a metal-sided accessory building on the Subject Property. That Section 9.11.02 of the Ramsey City Code also states that the total amount of garage and accessory structure space is limited to 1,664 square feet on parcels of land greater than one acre but less than 2.5 acres in size.
