Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #97-10-XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF LOT 1, BLOCK 1, BUSINESS PARK 95 <br />I~I~TII- ADDITION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council, pursuant to the authority granted it by City Charter <br />Chapter Section 12.5 adopted Ordinance #96-01, which Ordinance approved the sale of Lot 1, <br />Block 1, BUSINESS PARK 95 ~ADDITION (the "Lot"); and <br /> <br /> WItEREAS, the Lot is a "Torrens" lot as classified by the Anoka County Registrar of <br />Titles office; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Anoka County Registrar of Titles office, prior to accepting a <br />conveyance of the Lot by the City, requires that the City adopt a Resolution authorizing the Lot's <br />sale, notwithstanding Ordinance #96-01. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That Lot 1, Block 1, BUSINESS PARK 95 DITION may be sold upon terms <br /> and conditions previously authorized by City Council. <br /> <br />2) That the City's Mayor and City Administrator are authorized to execute a deed and other <br /> necessary conveyance documents in order to effectuate the sale of said Lot 1, Block 1, <br /> BUSINESS PARK 95~ ADDITION. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 28th day of October, 1997. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />
