If the property were to be developed--commercially--approximately $30,000 would be realized in park dedication fees. Mr. Boos indicated there would be approximately 4.5 acres on which to place ballfields. In response, Commissioner Droegemueller questioned the practical/ty of placing a park next to another park. Mr. Boos added Riverdale will most likely be a continued road. If/Wh~ this would transpire, the potential need for a future park based on resident numbers/residential development would be revisited. Commissioner Droegemueller believed there is no perceived advantage of purchasing land at this time. Chairperson Cook concurred. Commissioner Droegemueller added he didn't care to sacrifice dollars for future development. Chairperson Cook inquired about the size of the park being proposed to the west. Mr. Boos responded the size has not been determined yet. Chairperson Cook indicated a desire in developing a smaller park west of the location. Mr. Boos responded this can be exam/ned further as more information becomes available. ADJOURNMENT Motion by Commissioner LaMere and seconded by Commissioner Droegemueller to adjourn the meeting.
