Homes <br />proceed to the preliminary plat stage for their townhome <br />development on Outlot B, Sunfish Square. <br /> <br />The Planning Commission directed. Staff to work with attorney <br />Thomas Alexander (who represents American Portable Telecom) in <br />order to clarify language in the proposed ordinance establishing <br />regulations for towers and antennas; bring back to the February PC <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Commissioners Deemer and Jensen were appointed to the <br />subcommittee to review/update zoning regulations in Chapter 9 of <br />the City Code, in order to make recommendations to the whole <br />Commission. The first subcommittee meeting is scheduled for <br />Monday, January 20, 1997 at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall. <br /> <br />Incorporate the letter from Peter and Linda Mayer as part of the <br />January 7, 1997 meeting minutes. <br /> <br />Eric Thompson's request for CUP to grade/export soils: The <br />Planning Commission recommended approval of the Findings of <br />Facts with the following amendments: Amend g9 by replacing the <br />word "around" with "along." Amend #10 to read "That the grading <br />operation will increase the traffic to and from the subject property <br />for the period of time that the Conditional Use Permit is granted." <br />Amend #11 through #I7 in the affh'mative. Add a finding <br />stipulating a time limit for the permit of two years. The Planning <br />Commission recommended approval of the conditional use permit <br />with the following amendments: Amend #1 for the permit to <br />"...expire two years from the commencement of operations, but the <br />time period from date of issuance through operations shall not <br />exceed 3 years." Amend ~9 to require the contractor to clean <br />County Road #63, County Road #5, and T.H. #47 of debris and <br />dirt on a daily basis. Fom, ard to City Council. <br /> <br />The Planning Commission directed the developer to note the issues <br />discussed and proceed to apply for preliminary plat approval of <br />Apple Ridge. <br /> <br />The Planning Commission recommended that The Park and <br />Recreation Commission review the issue of suitable parks for tower <br />sites and Section 9.15.04 of the proposed towers/antennas <br />ordinance at their next meeting.
