I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #97-05- RESOLUTION DECLARING CONDITIONS OF CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR WMMI'S GROUNDWATER PUMP-OUT AND TREATMENT SYSTEM WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #97-05- adopting Findings of Fact # ., for this use, and herein approves a Conditional Use Permit subject to the following conditions. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: That on , 1997, a Conditional Use Permit was issued to Waste Management of Minnesota, Inc., hereinafter referred to as "WMMI" for: (a) The operation of a groundwater pump-out and treatment system as part of the~ remedial action necessary for WMMI's existing sanitary landfill on property currently zoned industrial. Said activities shall be conducted on the property legally described as follows: The Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 27, Township 32 North, Range 25 West, City ofRamsey, Anoka County, State of Minnesota. ("Subject Property") Term. This Permit is issued pursuant to Sections 9.03.04 of the Ramsey City Code. This Conditional Use Permit is valid through January 31, 2001, so long as the conditions imposed herein are complied with. The conditions of this Permit are as follows: o Permit Term Extension. The recovery and treatment process may extend for more than ten years which is beyond the term of this Permit and the previous permit. The Permit Holder may apply for a new CLIP within 120 days prior to the expiration of this Permit. A new permit may be approved by the City based on the performance of the Permit Holder under this CUP. o Commencement of Work. Operations shall not commence until all conditions of this Permit have been complied with. ° Site Security. The water treatment site shall be properly safeguarded to prevent the general public from access to the site.
