I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />! <br />! <br />! <br />I <br />I <br />! <br />i <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #97-05- <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT #__ RELATING TO A REQUEST <br />FROM DAVID HANSEN FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO CONSTRUCT <br />ACCESSORY STRUCTURES PRIOR TO THE PRINCIPAL BUILDING ON A PARCEL <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey received an application from David Hansen for a <br />conditional use permit to construct accessory structures prior to the principal building on the <br />property generally known as the Hansen Tree Farm, located on the south side of 155th Avenue <br />NW and Traprock Street NW, and legally described as follows: <br /> <br />The Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 21, Township 32, Range 25, <br />Anoka County, Minnesota. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANoKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA that the findings of fact relating <br />to the request are determined to be as follows: <br /> <br />That on April 15, 1997, David Hansen, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant," properly <br />applied for a conditional use permit to construct accessory structures on a parcel prior to the <br />principal building. <br /> <br />That the applicant appeared before the Ramsey Planning Commission for a public hearing <br />pursuant to Section 9.03.04 of the City Code on May 6, 1997, and that said public hearing <br />was properly advertised, and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated <br />as a part of these findings by reference. <br /> <br />3. That the Subject Property is 40 acres in size. <br /> <br />4. That the Subject Property and surrounding parcels are zoned R-1 Rural Residential. <br /> <br />5. That there is no principal building or dwelling on the Subject Property. <br /> <br />That Section 9.11.02, Subd. 4 of the Ramsey City Code states that no accessory structure <br />shall be constructed on any lot prior to the time of construction of the principal building. <br /> <br />That Section 9.11.02, Subd. 12 of the Ramsey City Code states that the total amount of <br />garage and accessory structure space is limited to 4,800 square feet on parcels of land 10.6 <br />acres and greater in size. <br /> <br />That the Applicant is proposing to construct a 2,016 square foot metal accessory structure <br />and a 2,400 square foot whole-log or log-sided sales building on the Subject Property for a <br />total of 4,416 square feet of accessory space. <br /> <br /> <br />
