q <br /> <br />"Exhibit A" <br /> <br />City of Ramsey Conditional Use Permit <br />Groundwater Pump-Out and Treatment System <br />Anoka Regional Sanitary Landfill <br /> Review of Existing Permit <br /> <br />The following is a review of the condition in the 1991 Conditional Use Permit to the groundwater <br />pump-out and treatment system at the Anoka Regional Sanitary landfill. <br /> <br />Term - The original conditional use permit expired January 31, 1996. This review <br />accompanies a permit renewal application. <br /> <br />Permit Term Extension - The groundwater recovery and treatment process continues as <br />described in the original Conditional Use Permit (CLIP) and may continue beyond the <br />expiration date of the renewed CUP. <br /> <br />Commencement of Work - Operation of the groundwater pump-out and treatment system <br />began on October 28, 1991 and continues to this date. It is anticipated that the system or <br />portions of the system may continue to be operated beyond the expiration date of the <br />renewed CUP. <br /> <br />Site Security - The groundwater treatment facility is surrounded by an 8 foot high chain <br />link fence with lockable gates. <br /> <br />Financial Assurance - See item No. 8. <br /> <br />Charges and Fee~.- Included with the CUP application is a check for $375.00. This is for <br />the $75.00 no-refundable permit application fee and the $300.00 escrow account. Waste <br />Management agrees to pay alt fees associated with the CLIP renewal. <br /> <br />Insurance - See Certificate of Insurance. <br /> <br />Bonding - Waste Management of Minnesota, Inc.
