That information has now been received, and background <br />checks completed. The checks are satisfactory and all items required have been submitted. <br /> <br />Motion by C°uncflmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to approve <br />Barnyard Entertainment Corporation's request for an on-sale intoxicating liquor license <br />contingent uPOn receipt of proof of liquor liability insurance. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Peterson, Beyer, Beahen <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case g9: Report from Road and Bridge Committee <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski reported that the Road and Bridge Committee were unable to meet <br />this evening, but that all items for discussion will be placed the next agenda. <br /> <br />Case gl0: Report from Finance Committee <br /> <br />Following are the issues discussed by the Finance Committee. <br /> <br />1) 1996 -1997 Community Education Funding Anoka-Hennepin ISD <br /> #11 <br /> <br />Finance Officer Hart stated that several individuals from the Anoka-Hennepin Community <br />Education Department were present at the meeting to discuss some of their needs for 1996. <br />The Finance Committee requested more information, therefore, tabling any action on this <br />issue until the January 1996 meeting. <br /> <br />2) Easement Acquisition from Darnell Blume <br /> <br />Ms. Hart explained that the Finance Committee recommended approval of the <br />compensation of $1,800 to Damell Blume for an easement on his property. Due to the <br />sewer and water extension to Ramsey Elementary School, the City needed to traverse over <br />a portion of Mr. Blume's property. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to approve the <br />easement acquisition compensation to Darnell Blume in the amount of $1,800. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Hardin, Councilmembers Peterson, Beyer, Beahen <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />3) Section #22 Drainage Easement Acquisition <br /> <br />Ms. Hart reported that the Finance Committee authorized the City Engineer and staff to <br />continue negotiations for the Section #22 drainage easement acquisition.
