Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #96-02-_ RESOLUTION RECEIVING PETITION AND CALLING FOR A FEASIBILITY STUDY ON IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #96-16 (CONSTRUCTION OF SANITARY SEWER, WATERMAIN, STORM SEWER AND STREETS TO SERVICE FOX KNOLL 2ND ADDITION) WHEREAS, the City has received a petition for a feasibility study to consider the improvement of the consu'uction of sanitary sewer, watermain, storm sewer, streets and trail improvement to the preliminary plat known as Fox Knoll 2nd Addition; and WHEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be of the correct percentage of lawful signatures of affected property owners; and WHEREAS, the City Administrator has found the petition to be in accordance with the City Charter and Minnesota Statutes concerning local improvements. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That a certain petition requesting a feasibility study to consider the improvement of the construction of sanitary sewer, watermain, storm sewer, streets and trail to service Fox Knoll 2nd Addition has been filed with the City Council on February 13, 1996. The petition is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of affected property owners. This declaration is made in conformity to City of Ramsey Code Section 4.60 and Minnesota Statute Chapter 429. 2) That the petition is hereby referred to Steve Jankowski, City Engineer, and he is instructed to prepare a feasibility study to the City Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to the cost of the project to each affected property owner. The City Engineer shall also comment as to whether it should best be done as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement. 3) That the above mentioned project shall hereby be referred to as Improvement Project ~96- I6. 4) That the finn of John Oliver & Associates be designated as project engineer for these improvements. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember .. __ and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 13th day of February, 1996.
