3. Commercial use vehicles and equipment intended to be <br /> parked/stored outside that cannot meet the criteria established in c. 1 <br /> and 2 but can provide for alternatives to same, shall be required to <br /> obtain an Interim Use Permit. The Interim Use Permit shall be <br /> processed utilizing the same fee, escrows and procedures <br /> established for Conditional Use Permits in Section 9.03.04 of the <br /> Ramsey City Code. <br /> <br />Section 9.02 (Defmitions) is hereby amended to include the following definitions: <br /> <br /> "Equipment, Commercial Use" - Any motorized or non-motorized apparatus whose <br />primary use is to facilitate the generation of revenue. <br /> <br /> "Equipment, Private Use" - Any motorized or non-motorized apparatus whose <br />primary use is for personal activities not related to generating revenue or profit. <br /> <br /> "Motor Vehicle, Commercial Use" - Any device designed to be self-propelled that <br />is eligible for legal operation on the public roads and highways and whose primary use is to <br />facilitate the generation of revenue. This may include standard passenger automobiles, <br />tracks and vans displaying company Iogos and/or advertisements. <br /> <br /> "Motor Vehicle, Private Use" - Any device designed to be self propelled that is <br />eligible for legal operation on the public roads and highways and whose primary use is to <br />transport persons and/or property for personal or recreational activities. For purposes of <br />this Chapter, private use motor vehicles shall include operable vintage/classic cars and race <br />cars. <br /> <br /> "Operable Motor Vehicle" - A vehicle that can be presented in a self-pmpelled <br />condition within seven (7) days of the City's request for such action. <br /> <br /> "Prepared Surface" - The entire area under a vehicle or piece of equipment plus a <br />one-foot extended perimeten <br /> <br />SECTION 2. <br /> <br />REPEAL <br /> <br />The following language in Section 9.11.10 (Off Street Parldng) is hereby repealed: <br /> <br />No more than one (1) one-ton motor vehicle bearing a commercial license and no <br />commercially licensed trailer shall be parked or stored in a residential district except <br />when loading, unloading or rendering a service. No commercial vehicle shall be <br />parked or stored in a residential district except for short-term (two (2) hours or less) <br />when unloading, loading or rendering a service. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. <br /> <br />SUMMARY <br /> <br />The following official summary of Ordinance g06- .. has been approved by the City <br />Council of the City of Ramsey as clearly informing the phblic of the intent and effect of the <br />Ordinance. <br /> <br />It is the intent and effect of Ordinance g06- to amend Ramsey City Code Chapter 9 <br />(Zoning and Subdivision of Land), Section 9.02 (Definitions) to include "Motor Vehicle, <br />Commercial Use", "Motor Vehicle, Private Use", "Equipment, Commercial <br />Use","Equipment, Private Use", "Prepared Surface", "Operable Motor Vehicle"; and <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br />i <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br /> <br />
