Work Plan GENERAL Our proposed basic engineering services would include all preliminary surveying, preliminary and final design, permitting, plans and specifications, administration, and meetings required to design the proposed 450-foot McKinley Street and utility project west of CSAH 57. Our proposed construction services would include construction staking, full-time resident inspection, as-builts, and project close-out. The plans and specifications would be designed as per Minnesota State Aid (MSA) standards. We have staff available to start designing the project immediately, and propose to have the plans and specifications completed for bidding by April 15,1996. Our proposed project engineer, Mark Graham, P.E., would be construction observation activities, and reviewing all shop drawings. work item is given below: in charge of all design, A brief description of each I I I I I BASIC ENGINEERING SERVICES Preliminary Investigations/Surveying - This work includes all preliminary data gathering required to design and implement the proposed 450-foot McKinley Street/Utility project. We propose to complete a preliminary survey of the project site. This work would also include one to two meetings with the City of Ramsey to gather all pertinent data, including as-builts of the adjacent streets and utilities, and to finalize the scope of the project. Preliminary Design - This work includes all preliminary design of the street improvements, sanitary sewer risers, storm sewer, and watermain services. These facilities shall be designed to meet MSA standards. Prepare Permit Applications and Submittal Information - This work includes preparing permit applications and submittal information for the Water Management Organization, Ramsey County, Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, Department of Health, and Metropolitan Council Wastewater Division. Final Design - This work includes the final design of the proposed 450-foot street, curb and gutter, sanitary sewer risers, storm sewer, minor grading of the street and right-of-way, and watermain services. These facilities shall be designed to meet MSA standards. This work also includes completing a final cost estimate. The project shall be designed in AutoCADD Release 12.0/c format. The City shall receive a hard copy of the project information, and a computer disk including as- built and other pertinent information for the City's flies. Administration - This work involves alt project administration, including attending Council meetings and Planning Commission meetings as requested by the City.
